AUSTIN (KXAN) — President Joe Biden overwhelmingly won Texas’ Democratic presidential primary on March 5, easily defeating seven other candidates who appeared on the ballot.
Biden received more than 80% of all votes cast in Texas, as well as a majority in every county in Texas except one — Loving County in West Texas. Marianne Williamson was a very distant second, with about 4% of the vote.
Biden’s final margin of victory was more than 787,000 votes.
KXAN has mapped precinct-level results in counties across the state to get a better picture of how Texans voted.
At this time, precinct-level results are available in 174 of Texas’ 254 counties. The map below will be updated when additional data becomes available.

We currently have results data for 8,764 precincts across Texas. At least one vote was cast in 8,183 of those precincts.
Biden won the most votes in 8,076 precincts. Armando Perez-Serrato won 16 precincts, while Marianne Williamson won 13 precincts. Seventeen other precincts were won by various other candidates. A total of 61 precincts saw a tied result.
Biden won 100% of the vote in 514 precincts and at least 90% of the vote in a further 2,129 precincts. His weakest support was in heavily Hispanic counties, primarily along the border.
Of the 46 precincts won by a candidate other than Biden, seven were in Dallas County, four were in Hidalgo County and three were in Harris and Tarrant counties each.
